The role of the National Group is to:
Perform its duly formulated tasks of combating commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC) at national level according to its own mandate and policies;
Support the international activities/projects of ECPAT within its own country and region;
Initiate ideas and contribute to the development of projects and campaigns to end CSEC;
Keep ECPAT International informed on a regular basis of its activities and provide copies of newsletters, relevant news clippings and research et cetera;
Send Annual Reports to ECPAT International on its programmes, membership, financial situation and any matters which might affect its position as a National Group or Affiliate Group of ECPAT;
Be available to represent ECPAT International at international meetings if requested to do so by the International Executive Committee; and
Accept tasks and assignments as requested by ECPAT International.
